1st Douglas Head Lighthouse Isle of Man.
Light First Established (Isle of Man Harbour Board from 1832) built by Robert Stevenson the tower being closer to the edge and having been subjected to subsidence it was forced to be demolished.
The second lighthouse was established in 1857 being built by the engineering brothers David and Thomas Stevenson, sons of Robert Stevenson.
